The Central Dredging Association, CEDA, is a non-profit international professional, technical association for all professionals involved in dredging and marine construction related and who live or work in Europe, Africa, or the Middle East. CEDA provides an independent forum for the exchange of knowledge and good practice on all aspects of dredging.  Members of CEDA come from many fields and include consultancies, academic and research institutions, port authorities, government bodies, contractors, builders of dredging vessels and suppliers of ancillary equipment. CEDA represents the common interest of all fields related to dredging and marine construction and does not promote the interest of any particular industry sector or organisation. The Russian State Hydrometeorological University (RSHU) is the leading higher educational institution working in the field of environmental and earth sciences in Russia. RSHU is internationally recognized university which has a status of Regional Training Centre of the World Meteorological Organization since 1995. St. Petersburg State Polytechnical University (SPbSPU) occupies one of the top positions among Russian institutions of higher learning participating in international academic projects.
