Guided to Pushkin
Tuesday, 13 October, 11.00 - 16.00 hours

This tour will give the unique opportunity for partners to visit together Pushkin, also known as "Sarskaia" and later "Tsarskoye Selo" or "Tsars Village", entrenched in Russian history and well-known from Russian literature. Pushkin is located approximately twenty-five kilometers from St. Petersburg and is situated on land granted by Peter the Great to his wife, the future Catherine I. The sumptuous Catherine Palace (Yekaterinsky Dvorets) is the centerpiece of the sprawling park complex, surrounded by ponds, canals, follies and shaded paths. Tsarskoye Selo was beautiful in the past and remains beautiful today. The tour will take some five hours. Participants will be picked up at 11:00 am at Hotel Moscow and will return around 4:00 pm. The cost of the tour is € 110 per person. This price also includes the seminar reception on Tuesday evening. Please refer to the registration form.
